Mapping SnOWMELT
This project combines remotely sensed optical, multispectral, and synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data with ground-based observations to map snow melt onset and duration in mountain basins. Led by PhD candidate Sara Darychuk, the work is funded in part by BC Hydro and the River Forecast Centre of the BC Ministry of Environment.
